Coach Michelle has loved playing the game of volleyball since 4th grade.    However, she began playing competitively at Cairo American College in Maadi Cairo, Egypt as a Junior Varsity player and starter in the International Schools Athletic Associations (ISSA) and International Schools Sports Tournament (ISST0), competing and traveling to many countries including Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.  After moving back to the USA, she continued her volleyball career as a 2-year scholarship athlete and starter at Mississippi College as an Offside Hitter and Libero and was awarded the American Southern Conference (ASC) Academic All-Conference Award as a freshman and sophomore.  Michelle graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.A. in English and has worked for the Limbach Company in the People & Culture Department and as a Wellness Coordinator for 15+ years.  Michelle is also certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), and Fitness Nutrition Specialist (FNS).  Her experience includes sports specific training, conditioning for athletes, and corrective exercise training.  Coach Michelle has spent the last 30+ plus years playing competitive indoor and outdoor leagues in the Columbus area as well as running tournaments and reffing outdoor sand volleyball.  This will be her 6th season coaching club volleyball.  Her passion is to assist in the development of players, not only physically, but also mentally and emotionally.  It is her goal to provide regular communication and feedback to both players and parents.
